I am so looking forward to this cd. Thank goodness for the 30 second snippets on Amazon and the couple of Youtube vids (this being one of them) because Im sure otherwise I wouldnt make it til it dropped! The recording is much nicer than what was presented on the AMAs...for sure.
I found a link for his cd on iLike.com yesterday that plays his whole cd. I didn't care for some of the songs on there, but I did like a few and downloaded 5 of them yesterday afternoon. I streamed one last night. The song from the 2012 movie, Time For Miracles.
LOL@ IGGZ!! .oO(badass!) I don't think hubby will want this particular cd playing ad nauseum on Thanksgiving Day. Besides...after noon the Christmas tunes come out...it's tradition.
Yes, I am Jan n Jer. Adam is an...umm...acquired taste. He's an entertainer for sure and can pretty much morph into whatever's needed (although from what I saw on YouTube, he did NOT do this for his performance...oy!). Some like his rocker style, some like his classics side. He did warn us that this cd was going to be ummm unusual to say the least.
I proofed the cd (well the 30 sec snips) a couple times and there are a few songs that are...eh...but others, like this one, which I know I'll listen to repeatedly so it'll be worth the money.
You can say that again Pamela. I can understand sounding a bit off in a live performance (especially if the performer is actually SINGING and not LIPSYNCING the number), however I feel the ummm performance accompanying the singing...ummm...wasn't appropriate for the venue. In his road show, yeah, but something that is going to be viewed on tv...no. At least it gave us an idea of the ummmm spectical we can expect at a live showing.

soooo your an Adam Lambert fan...he is very talented.
I don't know that I could listen to a whole album, but a song now and then would be great!`
Just 8 hours now --- You can be enjoying the sweet sounds as you cook your turkey boobs.... I mean breast!
I didn't watch the awards last night - but someone told me that his performance there was not up to his ability and promise.???
