I've decided that Im addicted to Blue Bunny Light Personals icecream. Each little tub They have a delightful Super Fudge Brownie flavor that is to die for. However, I found one flavor I like even more. I am seriously addicted to the Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake flavor. It's a really good thing I only buy the personal sizes (only 1 a week) and not the larger sizes as Im sure I would have eaten an entire half gallon of it tonight. Normally, I do really well on my eating modification, but tonight...well Im gonna blame this on Jeannie. If it wasnt for her entries of Jeannie's Happy World: Tastefully Simple Giveaway!! and Jeannie's Happy World: Chocolate Bliss 'n Stuff! (which shows her adorable little girl enjoying some Chocolate Bliss...), well let's just say my sweettooth couldnt handle it any longer!
Saturday night while we were headed out for supper, I noticed the first sign of spring in my yard. Unfortunately, the flash washed out the bloom...I was really hoping that the purple streaks in the flower would show up. Ah well. It'll be a matter of time before the front yard is flowering again. 
We've also had some buds show up on the trees.
Here's a picture I've been meaning to post. It was taken on the evening of February 26th. We'd gotten to the traffic light at the entrance of our sub-division and the light was peeking over the trees across the road from us near the mall. It took 5 attempts to get it just right. I zoomed right in so I didnt have to crop much of the traffic out.
Over the last few days, I've gotten some more bling for my page. The first one came from Jeannie in her entry Jeannie's Happy World: A New Award!. Ok ok, she didnt exactly specify me by name but she did say it was for her readers so I took it. Pbbt!

I'm soooo jealous that you can have ice cream! I am allergic to cream, so I can't have it (unless I want to get really sick). Last night I had some weird soy-based, dairy-free ice cream...it just wasn't the same as real ice cream at all. :( Have a spoonful of that scrumptious-looking Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake for me!

I really don't like Blue Bunny icecream. To each his own though :-) BTW Styxie My son got a tat LOL I'll try to pin him down one night and get a pic of it to post! LOL
I have to be either very hot or in the right mood for ice-cream. I'm not used to having a lot of it because I used to have a big issue with dairy products (I seem to have grown out of it, though I still end up feeling a bit queezy if I have too much at one go). Anyway, I'm sure we can allow you the oppertunity to pig out on something you like from time to time. ;)

Top O' the Evening to ya! We're starting to see touches of spring here and there...I'm thinking about making my 5 a.m. cherry blossom/tidal basin pilgrimage in a couple weeks or so. And the light at the end of the day is WONDERFUL, isn't it? Don't begrudge yourself the ice cream treat...you work so hard, you deserve it!

The ice cream sounds good. I don't think I've ever seen those types before. FWIW, my trick is that I bought myself two darling little spring-colored "dip-bowls" that hold about 1 cup each (and THAT'S full to the top!). I add a couple small scoops of ice-cream, and it looks like more than it really is, and the bowls are so darling that I want to use THEM instead of my larger soup bowls..... Keeps my ice-cream portions in check. (Especially as compared to my hubby who'll grab the whole quart-tub and sit on the couch eating from it.)
I have tried Blue Bunny ice cream but I didn't know that they sold "single serving" sizes. ;) I also love cheesecake flavor so I will investigate this further.
