It has been full of losses this week, hasn't it?

As for Michael Jackson, as I just left on someone else's blog, I feel as if he was a very tortured soul and somehow I hope that now he finds himself at peace.

When I heard about Farrah this morning I wondered who will be next because they always come in threes. But I was truly shocked that it was Michael Jackson.

The world will miss these talented people.

R.I.P. to all three.

I hope they all find the peace they were seeking. Being a celebrity certainly has it's downfalls.

I agree, they are with the Lord now and have peace. It has been a week to remember.

It's like my childhood is disappearing.

MJ was massively creative but a very much tormented soul. His is an example of that trite saying, "money doesn't buy happiness." - RIP MJ

Farrah and Ed were true icons. I guess God will have Ed say, "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeereees Farrah!" when they get to the pearly gates.

I was totally shocked when I heard the news of MJ yesterday. To see such an innocent child turn into such a, as Iggy aptly put it, tormented soul. It is truly sad. I hope he finds peace in the afterlife.

Farah seemed to have her own demons and definiitely had her share of heartaches.

Ed was such a wonderful Johnny sidekick all those years and also had his share of heartbreak.

All three had the burden of stardom. Hopefully Ed paved the way to heaven saying, Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrre we come!

Some say celebrity deaths come in "threes." What was particularly disconcerting, though, was MJ and FF dying within a couple of hours of one another. I was sad, but also creeped out!

And did you hear about Billy Mays this morning? It's been a roller-coaster summer so far, hasn't it? BTW, to lighten things up a tad, don't forget to swing by my Silly Sunday Sweepstakes today. We could use a dose of your sense of humor!

BTW, my youngest just launched a photo blog, and I'm shamelessly trolling for traffic. Please visit my site to see what she's got going, and pay her a visit!

In addition to those, here in Chicago, people were mourning the loss of John Callaway. You can read more about him below.
