It's Saturday. It's that time again.

It's that time of week again!
It's time for Shan's Weekend Wordles.
Here's what ya do:

01) Go to Wordle.net to create your Wordle. It's lots of fun. You can tweak the colors, fonts and such. If you really want to customize your Wordle for your site you can use this color code chart .

02) Post it on your blog with a link to Shan's Week~End Wordles or Last Shreds Of Sanity.

03) Once that's done, go back to Last Shreds Of Sanity and sign the Mr Linky that she'll have up (this will help direct those who play along to your blog...we're talking new peeps reading and maybe new followers for everyone....). Dont forget to leave a comment on the sites you visit!!

I dug way back for this week's entry. It is a Wordle of one of my very first entries ever, when I was writing on Yahoo360. Back then I wasn't even putting titles on my entry. This entry was written on October 13, 2005. I may or may not be in later to read entries today and it's even more doubtful if another entry gets posted, it may need to wait until tomorrow. May 16th is another of "those days" and sadly this year it falls on a work Saturday which means I dont even have my hubby home to distract me. This year, if I stayed, it would have been 17 years.

I've added something new to the page in my sidebar. The Helping Hands picture will take you to a blog that has asked for help. I'll be changing out the link the picture takes you to on an as needed basis and will try to make mention in my entries when the link's been changed. I wish I could do more, but many times I simply can't. Please make sure to pop over to these blogs and visit. If you can help with their need, please do. Thanks.

Perhaps getting set for the American Idol finale' (finally!) would help distract you. The transparent bullseye needs making and placement on the TV, the panties washing, starching, and ironing to make 'em ready for throwing, and some sort of final decision on how you are going to factor in bras needs to be made.

I get this big sense of ... I'm not even sure how to put it, "what if"? regret? "self blame for.. a mistake?" about what happened 17 years ago. You've come a long way and journey hasn't been smooth and perhaps you feel worn down by the accumulated events that you experienced and suffered through.

But blaming yourself or feeling regret isn't good. You not only survived, forged into someone stronger, even more worth knowing, you surely should see you can't predict the crazy curveballs life will throw you - nor can anyone really control where life takes them... unless they are as good as dead and stay hidden a small room with the curtain drawn and food passed under the door to them.

***Hugs*** I hope you find a much better memory to augment (no one could ever remove) the one you have of this particular day.

*Hugs*

If we let ourselves live in a world of "What ifs" we miss so much of what is going on around us right now. (Even though I am guilty of this often)
