Day 7: A song that reminds you of a certain event
Now picture a wedding party getting up and dancing this one. This would be a small segment of how my brother's wedding reception went. Complete with them all singing their respective parts. Oh... and a 6'2" 200+ pound man dancing the part of Magenta. Yeah. Not an image you're likely to forget. Even more than a decade later.

I think I'd rather see a 6'2" 200+ pound man dancing the part of Magenta than doing the YMCA or Chicken Dance. :)
I'm going to say Blondie's "Call Me!" from the 80s. More accurately, the theme song to "American Gigolo" starring Richard Gere and Lauren Hutton which me and my college buddies saw on opening night. For weeks afterwards, we attempted to dress as nicely as Richard Gere did in the movie hoping to attract some "babes". All that actually came out of it was we didn't look like slobs for a couple months (which was an event of its own...)
Several songs could work for this one, but the one I'm going to go with is...
Boyzone - Love You Anyway
It was the new single Boyzone brought out when they got back together, and it reminds me of when I was in hospital - feeling pretty miserable - and Boyzone came on TV to sing this song and announce they were back together. They'd been a favourite band of mine since I was a kid, and this was some very welcome good news.
OK, so it's not as big of an event as yours, but it was the first one that sprung to mind, so it's the one I decided to go with.
Speaking of YMCA, whenever I hear that song, I'm reminded of a time when I went out to a bar with a couple friends, and they were handing out bottles of champagne to those they thought were doing the best job of doing the YMCA dance, and I won one!
Talk about bad dance songs. They played the Macarena at our son's wedding and I still have visions of a dear friend of mine dancing her heart out. She had a floral dress on and those flowers were flying. Her husband video taped the whole thing, focusing on her hind end. Ahhhh memories. LOL
The song that really came to mind, though, was "A Wonderful World" because it reminds me of cruising. Jim sang that song and won a Kareoke (I know I spelled it wrong, but I don't care) contest.
