Hubby had an appointment at a surgeon's this morning. He's had a lump on his arm and one on his finger for a while now. His dr gave him a referral to this surgeon to see what needs to be done. They opted to remove the lump on his arm today. No, there wasnt a major problem...just one that was uncomfortable for him at times. Turns out it was nothing more than a fat deposit. We're not sure how it happened, only that it happened sometime while he was on an antibiotic. I dont know, maybe it was just the timing of it. He was told that the one on his finger is a ganglion cyst (http://www.medicinenet.com/ganglion/article.htm ) and that the dr would need to send a separate referral for it because this problem would require a trip to the operating room. Thankfully, it's on his left hand so it shouldnt effect his day to day workings too much.

Next week, not only do I have my shots on Friday, but I also have that scan scheduled for the a.m. I suspect that's going to be a Journey entry... Got a couple other things going on here too but Im not going to talk about them right at this moment. Just gonna keep an eye on things and talk to the dr if it doesnt clear up in the next day or so.

I'm glad the lump on his arm is nothing serious, and that he can get the cyst on his finger taken care of quickly and easily.

Hugs, and good luck with your appts and scan.

Good luck to both you and Ranger. Terri has several lumps on his side and legs and the doctor tells him they're just fat deposits and nothing to worry about. Terri is not a heavy man so they worried us, and still do me. Several years ago, he had to have a biopsy on a lump on his breast (yep, he did) but it turned out to be nothing more than a fat deposit.

I hope both you and Ranger the best with the medical appointments. Perhaps early next year you both will see a period of clear sailing and trouble-free health.

thank you all.

I hope so iggy. Someone once told me that what you're doing at the turn of the year is what you do the whole next year. Last thing I need is either of us having to have surgeries or be ill all next year....

Good luck to both of you on your appointments. We're thinking of you.
