Rose is Rose comic strip for Sunday September 14th:

A squirrel is looking in as Pasquale and his neighbor's baby Mimi are playing with orange and blue Play-Doh

Pasquale: Which Play-Doh color would you like to start with, Mimi?
Mimi: Dat wun! (points to one of the cans)
Pasquale: Shall we make the same thing as last time?

Mimi nods

Squirrel 1 (thinking): Just as I suspected! I've got to warn the others! (jumps down off the window sill)

Squirrel 1 (to Squirrels 2 & 3 who are seated on the ground): Up there! (points up to the window) You won't believe your eyes!

In the last frame you see Pasquale sitting on the floor with 5 orange squirrels with blue noses and several empty Play-Doh cans scattered around). Mimi is standing nearby with a huge grin on her face looking extremely happy (rainbow, hearts, candycane, beach ball and a music note around her head indicating how happy she is). Three squirrels are on the window sill, peeking in from outside.

Pasquale: We could try making something else.

Mimi: Morr Skwurls!

Squirrel 1: It finally happened!

Squirrel 2: They've outsourced squirrel production!

Squirrel 3: The blue noses are kind of cute!

In anticipation of the pesty guy's arrival, Bushytail and Nutkins made sure that all the Chipmunk-Guard was armed to their little buck teeth. They couldnt chance his escape, not now, not when they were so damned closed to their goal. Justice would be had and until the pesty guy was charged, sentenced and safely tagged for further monitoring, they wouldnt be leaving anything to fate. Ok, so the bazookas were a bit of overkill, but they had to be sure everything went according to their plans.

Pesty guy arrived, heavily guarded by several hundred Chipmunk-Guards and the charges were read. The complaint had been filed by Bushytail, Nutkins, Cuzin Chuck, Cuzin Chippy, Chuzzelwit and the rest of the Squirrel community against iggy aka Rocky aka Pesty Guy for damages for the following charges:


stalking & harrassment of all things orange, fuzzy and flying
the wrongful deaths of Lil and Tiny Bushytail
and the rustling of unnaturally colored sheep



Prosecutor: Bucky "Squeaky" Squirrel.
Court Clerk: Hammy "Decaf" Bushtail.
The case was presided over by Her Honor Slappy " The Animaniac" Squirrel (Bucky's mom).

Slappy reviewed all evidence and Pesty Guy was found guilty of all counts. He was fitted with an ankle monitoring device. His sentence was to do another Virtual Walk, this time in the United Kingdom. His main contact there shall be Tori. When he groaned, it was pointed out the charges could have been much much worse and the next offense would cost him a trip through Canada.
