Day 18

Day 18: A song that you wish you heard on the radio

Pfft that. How about an artist I'd like to hear on the radio? I simply cannot choose just one song of his because he's so flipping talented. As a result, I'm going to share 2. His originals, it sounds like he has instrument accompaniment, but his covers are mostly all just him. You may remember him from last month (or was it the month before?)

Dream World

Fireflies (an Owl City cover)

hmmm an artist I wish I could hear on the radio...I don't know of any. Now my exboyfried way back in 79 that boy could sing!!! But he had no ambition to try anything but nightclubs. I'd love to hear him sing again..wait! I think I have an old cassett of a jam session the band had *wanders off to try to find the casette case*

There are several artists I was introduced to when I was streaming, or have been introduced to since then by the people I streamed with, and I would like to hear most of them on the radio. But since I need to pick just one artist, I'm going to go with one I was listening to the other day, and my favourite song of his (the same song I listened to of his the other day). So, I'm going with...

Tim McGraw - My Little Girl

I've never heard him played on the radio here during the times I do actually put music stations on, and he has such a nice voice that I think it's a shame. Plus, I really like the song!

Failing that, my brother does a great job of singing most songs, but I especially love him singing "R.E.M. - Everybody Hurts" so I wouldn't mind hearing that on the radio (or anywhere else for that matter).

LOL at Iggy.

I am totally stumped. Maybe later I can wander back in with something.... but the thinking cap is still in bed!

Why would I remember Mike Tompkins from last month or the month before? He's very talented, though.

My choice is actually two artists. George Huff and/or Melinda Doolittle.
